Dr. Ramsden, a Texas A&M graduate, has practiced veterinary medicine for nearly 15 years and is Level Two Fear Free Certified. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family, pets, and nature. She joins Island Trees Veterinary Hospital in January.

Dr. Jay Gottlieb founded Island Trees Veterinary Hospital in 1987. A lifelong animal lover, he earned his DVM from the University of Perugia in Italy. His interests include surgery, dermatology, and education. Outside work, he enjoys horses, golf, and time with family and his dog, Chloe.

Betsy, a SUNY Farmingdale graduate and licensed vet tech since 1992, has been with Island Trees Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years. A lifelong animal lover and skilled equestrian, she enjoys paddle boarding, staying active, and spending time with her two daughters.

Shawna, a Suffolk Community College Vet Science graduate, has 19 years of experience. She enjoys assisting in surgery and dentals, always seeking ways to improve patient care. Outside work, she loves family time, volunteering as a firefighter, traveling, hiking, and baking.

Sue has been a veterinary professional for 24 years, with training from the University at Albany and Suffolk Community. She takes pride in comforting patients during their hospital stays and enjoys relaxing with her family, cat, and dog in her free time.
