Island Trees Veterinary Hospital is currently seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our staff. To deliver the finest patient and client service possible, we are looking for a receptionist who is a competent communicator and enjoys interacting with customers and peers. The Veterinary Receptionist will be our clients’ initial point of contact. This role will be in charge of all office tasks, thus the ideal candidate will be outgoing and determined! Experience working at a veterinary hospital for one to two years is strongly advised.

You will be joining an amazing team of doctors, technicians, assistants, and receptionists. We have created a fun, united atmosphere and are looking for a motivated and capable new team member. We have incredible doctors that deliver high-quality medical care to our patients ranging from advanced orthopedic surgical/dental procedures to internal medicine workups. The hospital is fully equipped (digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, brand new Idexx laboratory in-house, paperless records, ultrasound, and full soft tissue/orthopedic surgical suite).

Island Trees Veterinary Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will be friendly and compassionate, with a passion for animal care. They will also be able to work well under pressure and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.

The typical duties of a Veterinary Assistant include:

  • Feeding and watering animals
  • Cleaning cages and kennels
  • Collecting samples for laboratory testing
  • Assisting with diagnostic procedures and treatments
  • Administering medication
  • Providing customer service.
